Course Information

Younger Students

Students aged 13-14years, with little knowledge of English come to Sussex International Study Centre to learn the vocabulary and grammatical structures necessaryto converse successfully in English. This course covers the four skills needed in academic English studies: reading, writing, speaking and listening and lasts for one or two years depending on ability. Our aim is to make English lessons both entertaining and educational with the use of role-plays, communication games and project work. In addition to Intensive English lessons and Computer Assisted Language Learning, the curriculum also includes Mathematics, Introduction to the Sciences, Introduction to the Humanities, Art & Design Technology, Music, Sport, Activities and Cultural Studies.
